Fun fact it was a Friday night and one time me and my siblings went to two different fast food places. I went to McDonalds and it was a 5 minute wait. My siblings went to Chipotle and it was a 30 minute wait (note that we used the McDonalds drive thru and Chipotle doesn't have a drive thru). I ended up eating all my McDonalds by the time they came back.

Supersonic Cocoa☆Pretty Cure Deluxe ☕ (スーパーソニックココア☆プリキュアデラックス☕) is the twentieth installment in the Pretty Cure franchise.

Directed by Asagiri Adam and produced by Toei Animation, the series premiered on TV Asahi on February 6th, 2022, succeeding Delicious Party♡Pretty Cure in its initial time slot.

The series' main themes are friendship, teamwork, and the power of coffee. The show is also notable for having a large cast of characters as well as a focus on magical girls who have different personalities from those usually seen in the series before.

Production

Supersonic Cocoa☆Pretty Cure Deluxe ☕ was first trademarked on September 8th, 2020, under the name "Supersonic☆Pretty Cure". In December of that year, it was announced that the title would be changed to Supersonic Cocoa☆Pretty Cure Deluxe ☕. This was due to pressure from fans who believed the original title implied that all of the other installments were inferior versions of this one in some way. It also helped give the show an air of exclusivity that was thought to make it stand out against others in its genre.

In a public statement, Toei president Tomomitsu said that she was looking forward to seeing how "the new characters and their relationships with the old ones will change the overall dynamic." She did not elaborate further on the subject, although it should be noted that both the writer of the series and her assistant had been replaced during production, leading many to speculate that there might have been internal strife within the company that led to such changes being made.

Inui Sagiri (乾さぎり)
Sagiri is a thirteen year old middle school girl living in Chagawa City. She is a lively girl who loves drinking coffee and tea, but sometimes she can be too nerdy. She has one older sister named An. She can transform into Cure Coffee (キュアコーヒー).

Kamisaka Mirei (上坂みれい)
Mirei is a seventeen year old high school girl living in Chagawa City. She is a short girl, about 150 centimeters. She is a middle child, having an older sister and a younger sister. She can transform into Cure Green Tea (キュアグリーンティー).

Sato Kokomi (佐藤ここみ)
Kokomi is a sixteen year old high school girl living in Chagawa City. She is a dull girl who is always alone at school. She is an only child. She transforms into Cure Milk Tea (キュアミルクティー).

Ijuin Shiori (伊集院しおり)
Shiori is a fourteen year old junior high school student in Chagawa City. She has a crush on her first grade childhood friend Akashi Idomukai. She later confesses her feelings to him, but he does not take her seriously. She transforms into Cure Cappuccino (キュアカプチーノ).

Sanada Emily (真田エミリ)
Emily is a sixteen year old high school student living in Chagawa City. She loves collecting dolls, but she is bullied and called doll-like. However, she never gives up and wishes to be the cutest doll. She transforms into Cure Strawberry (キュアストロベリー).

Kuroki Kyo (黒木きょう)
Kyo is a seventeen female high school student living in Chagawa City. She is large, strong, and works out, but she is foresighted and wears glasses. She is always being stared at because of this, but she herself has an invincible confidence. She transforms into Cure Black Tea (キュアブラックティー).

Maezono Nagi (前園なぎ)
Nagi is a fifteen year old junior high school student living in Chagawa City. She has no friends and is always alone. However, she really wants to be needed by someone. She transforms into Cure Frappuccino.

Shirakawa Mikako (白河みかこ)
Mikako is an eighteen year old high school student living in Chagawa City. She is the eldest of the Shirakawa sisters. Unlike her younger sister Chiho Shirakawa, she can study well and is athletic. However, she has a rather bad personality and speaks ill of and behind the backs of those around her. She transforms into Cure Cafe au Lait.

Ohama Azuka (大浜あずか)
She is 23 years old and lives in Chagawa City as a receptionist. She is the only daughter of a rich family, and has five older brothers. She can be pretty cranky, especially without her coffee. She transforms into Cure Bourbon.

Kobayashi Yume (小林ゆめ)
Yume is a fourty year old hairdresser in Chagawa City, she is in her thirties, still young, and has a girlfriend. She looks younger than she actually is, which makes her have a height complex. She transforms into Cure Oolong.

Mizumori Hina (水森ひな)
Hina is a twenty-eight year old college student who works as a model in Chagawa City. She is the younger twin sister of Hoshi Mizumori. Like her older sister, she is always on her own, but is actually lonely and anxious. She transforms into Cure Affogato.

Satake Anna (佐竹あんな)
Anna is 38 years old and lives in Chagawa City. Her name is Anna. Because of this, her neighbors call her "Satake-san". She has a son who is in the first grade of junior high school. She transforms into Cure Chamomile.

Harukaze Sayaka (春風さやか)
Sayaka is an eleven year old elementary school student living in Chagawa City. She likes raising animals and she wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. She transforms into Cure Ginger.

Kirisaki Ayane (霧崎あやね).
Ayane is a fifteen year old female high school student living in Chagawa City. She is 180 cm tall with a few oddities, and has a good style. Her hairstyle is a bob cut, and her hair is tied back behind her right ear. She transforms into Cure Blueberry.

Tachibana Rinka (橘りんか)
Rinka is a sixteen year old female high school student living in Chagawa City. She is quite artistic, wanting to become a sculptor when she grows up. She always drinks coffee when going to museums. She transforms into Cure Macchiato.

Yukimura Suzuka (雪村すずか)
Suzuka is an eighteen year old female high school student living in Chagawa City. She is a firm person and is the opposite of her older sister, Fuyumi Yukimura. She is the student council president of Chagawa High School. She transforms into Cure Doppio.

Kijima Kaede (木島かえで)
Kaede is a nineteen year old female college student from Chagawa City. Her grades at school are among the highest. She transforms into Cure Mocha.

Yakumo Momiji (八雲もみじ)
Momiji is a seventeen year old high school dropout living in Chagawa City. She has a cute appearance and a bright, cheerful personality. She transforms into Cure Latte.

Chitose Rio (千歳りお)
Rio is a twenty-six year old woman living in Chagawa City. She is divorced because her husband cheated on her. Rio has a dog named Caramel. She transforms into Cure Hibiscus.

Morino Miori (森乃みおり)
Miori is a fourteen year old middle school student living in Chagawa City. She has a younger sister who is in kindergarten. She was unable to make friends in high school. She transforms into Cure Americano.

Hanazono Yuu (花園ゆう)
Yuu is a seventeen year old female high school student living in Chagawa City. She has many friends and is popular. She transforms into Cure Ice.

Yamagishi Sakura (山岸さくら)
Sakura is a seventeen year old female high school student living in Chagawa City. She has few friends. She transforms into Cure Marshmallow.

Kuroki Yurina (黒木ユリナ)
Yurina is a sixteen year old female high school student living in Chagawa City. Yurika is the younger sister of Kyo, and she is more into music than into working out. She transforms into Cure Espuma.

Tsuge Azami (柘榴木アザミ)
Azami is a sixteen year old female high school student living in Chagawa City. She is the class clown, a little jokester. She wants to make everyone smile. She transforms into Cure Lemon.

Kurahashi Kirari (倉橋きらり)
Kirari is a seventeen year old high school student living in Chagawa City. She is a regular course girl. She belongs to the Kyudo club. She transforms into Cure Pu-erh (キュアプエル).

Misaki Mahiru (三崎まひる)
Mahiru is a thirteen year old junior high school student living in Chagawa City. Since elementary school, she has been said to be the cutest girl in her class. She transforms into Cure Chai (キュアチャイ).

Otori Aki (大鳥あき)
Aki is a seventeen year old junior high school student living in Chagawa City. She is the final member and the only sixth ranger of the group. She transforms into Cure Hibiscus (キュアハイビスカス).
